Matthew Stadelmann will replace the previously announced Logan Marshall-Green in the New York premiere of Noah Haidle’s Rag and Bone, to be presented at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater November 13-December 16, with an opening date of November 20.

The play, which will be directed by Sam Gold, concerns Jeff and George, brothers mourning the death of their mother and struggling to make ends meet at the family ladder store. The store, however, is also a front for the black market sale of human hearts. Haidle’s previous plays include Mr. Marmalade and Vigils.

The cast will also include Michael Chernus, Deirdre O’Connell, Kevin Jackson, Audrey Lynn Weston, Henry Stram, and David Wohl. The creative team will include Dane Laffrey (sets), Oana Botez-Ban (costumes), Ben Stanton (lights), and Eric Shim (sound).

Stadelmann recently played Bobby Bibby in Rattlestick’s production of Adam Rapp’s American Sligo. His additional stage credits include Stone Cold Dead Serious, Drug Buddy, and Henry IV, Part I.
