The Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of Beth Henley’s 1979 play Crimes of the Heart, at the Laura Pels Theatre will now open on February 14, one week later than originally scheduled. The production, which will run until April 13, is directed by Kathleen Turner.

The delay was caused by the injury of star Lily Rabe during rehearsals, causing her to miss a week of previews. She has now resumed performances. The cast also includes Patch Darragh, Jenniffer Dundas, Sarah Paulson, Jessica Stone, and Chandler Williams. Turner directed a production of the play with the same cast — except Stone — this past summer at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy is about three sisters (played by Dundas, Paulson, and Rabe), whose resentments bubble to the surface as they are forced to deal with assorted relatives and past relationships while coping with the latest incident to disrupt their lives.
