Ethan Hawke, Kiki & Herb to Appear at New Group 2007 Gala

Tony Award and Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke and performers Kiki & Herb will make special appearances at the New Group 2007 Gala, to be held at 6:30pm on Monday, October 15 at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. The gala will be a tribute to Ruth and Stephen Hendel.

Hawke received a Tony nomination for The Coast of Utopia and an Academy Award nomination for Training Day. He is directing the New Group’s next show, Jonathan Marc Sherman’s Things We Want, and co-starred in the company’s acclaimed revival of Hurlyburly. He will appear on the big screen later this month in Sidney Lumet’s Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead.

Kiki & Herb, the creation of Justin Bond and Kenny Mellman, have starred in Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway, as well as at Carnegie Hall, the Cherry Lane, Fez, Joe’s Pub, and many theaters around the world. They will perform their newest show, Second Coming, at Carnegie Hall on December 12.
