Claire Moore and Simon Hale to Appear at Carnegie Hall

English theater star Claire Moore and Spring Awakening co-orchestrator Simon Hale will perform in Claire Moore and Simon Hale: Back 2 Back in Concert at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall at 8pm on Thursday, October 25.

The evening’s program features songs by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Stephen Sondheim, Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, along with some original songs by Moore and Hale.

Moore is best known for her roles as Christine in the London production of The Phantom of the Opera and Ellen in the original London production of Miss Saigon. Her other stage credits include Camelot, Little Shop of Horrors; The King and Im Les Misérables, The Duchess of Malfi, The Critic, The Real Inspector Hound and The Cherry Orchard. In addition to appearing on many cast albums, she has recorded two solo CDs. Hale has released a solo album, East Fifteen, and worked on recordings with such artists as George Benson, Simply Red, Jamiroquai, and Björk.
