CBS has canceled Viva Laughlin, the new television series co-produced by and co-starring Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman, after just two episodes, according to Variety. The show earned dismal ratings in its two outings, with its Sunday night airing garnering a mere 1.2 rating and 3 share among adults 18-49, according to the trade publication.

The show, which contained musical episodes in which characters sang along to hit tunes, was based on a popular BBC series called Viva Blackpool about a gambler who opens a casino and ends up in the middle of a murder investigation. In addition to Jackman, who had a recurring role, the cast included Lloyd Owen, Madchen Amick, and Melanie Griffith.

According to Variety, a rerun of the hit series CSI will take the show’s 8pm slot on Sunday, October 28 and the Emmy Award-winning reality series The Amazing Race will be given the slot beginning on November 4. CBS has not announced if it will show the remaining episodes of Viva Laughlin through videostreaming or on cable.
