2006-2007 Henry Hewes Award Nominees Are Announced

Nominations have been announced for the American Theatre Wing’s Henry Hewes Design Awards, which will be bestowed on November 15.

A total of 66 artists have been nominated for their work in 51 productions, with Lincoln Center Theater’s production of The Coast of Utopia topping the list with eight nominations.

Designers receiving multiple nominations include Anna Louizos, David Gallo, David Korins, Eugene Lee, John Lee Beatty, Santo Loquasto, Scott Pask, Catherine Zuber, Jane Greenwood, Jess Goldstein, William Ivey Long, Brian MacDevitt, Christopher Akerlind, Donald Holder, Kevin Adams, and Tom Watson. Other notable nominees include Andromache Chalfant, Bob Crowley, David Rockwell, Natasha Katz, Willa Kim, Howell Binkley, and Tyler Micoleau.
