Robert Foxworth will join the previously announced Amy Brenneman in the Los Angeles Theatre Works’ production of Work Song: Three Views of Frank Lloyd Wright, October 11-15 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. He replaces Gregory Itzin, who was originally cast as Wright. The play will be recorded live and subsequently broadcast as part of LATW’s nationally syndicated radio theater series, The Play’s the Thing.

Written by Jeffrey Hatcher and Eric Simonson (who will also direct the production), Work Song explores the many tempestuous relationships of one of the great architects of the modern era. The cast also includes Jim Beaver, Chris Butler, Matthew Patrick Davis, Sean Dougherty, Charles Janasz, Kathryn Meisle, Kali Rocha, and Raphael Sbarge.

Foxworth’s Broadway credits include Twelve Angry Men, Judgment at Nuremberg, and Honour. He is also known for his role of Chase on the hit CBS-TV series Falcon Crest. Brenneman, who will play his mistress, Marnah Cheney, is best known for her work on TV’s Judging Amy and NYPD Blue.
