Jacques Brel CD to Be Released on November 21

The recording of the Off-Broadway revival of Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris will be released in stores on Tuesday, November 21 by Ghostlight Records. However, copies of the CD will be available beginning Tuesday, October 17 at the show’s home, The Zipper Theatre, as well as through the show¹s Web site, www.jacquesbrelreturns.com.

The CD features 22 numbers from th new production, performed by original cast members Robert Cuccioli, Natascia Diaz, Rodney Hicks and Gay Marshall. (Hicks’ role is currently being played by Jim Stanek). An additional eight tracks will be available for download on iTunes.

The CD is the first new recording of Jacques Brel to be released in America since the show’s original cast recording was issued on the Columbia label in 1968. The new cast recording is produced by Eric Svejcar and Greg Arnold under the auspices of executive producer Dan Whitten and Tiger Theatricals.
