Dai (enough), a new solo show about Israel written and performed by Iris Bahr, will begin performances at the Culture Project on November 8. The production, to be directed by Will Pomerantz, will open officially on November 14.

In the show, Bahr takes audiences into a Tel Aviv café only minutes before a suicide bomber enters. Among the characters she portrays are an American woman who’s reluctantly in Israel to tend to her ailing mother, a Russian prostitute, a Christian Dominionist, an extreme right-wing West Bank settler, a Latina actress, and a Palestinian intellectual.

Bahr’s previous solo show, Planet America, ran for over a year in Los Angeles. As an actress, her film and television credits include Health Inspector, The Big Bang Theory, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Friends. Pomerantz’s directing credits include Tatjana in Color, Prater Violet, and The Marble Faun.
