Fields, Gallagher, Mitchell, Vereen, to Perform in Broadway Meets Country Benefit in Nashville

Broadway stars Felicia P. Fields, Peter Gallagher, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Ben Vereen have joined the cast of the Broadway Meets Country benefit concert, slated to begin at 7:30pm on Monday, October 30 at the James K. Polk Theatre of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville. Proceeds from the concert will aid TPAC’s educational programs and The Actors’ Fund of America.

The concert will be hosted by Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski and country music superstar Barbara Mandrell; it will feature Broadway stars Laura Bell Bundy, Michael Cerveris, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Brian d’Arcy James, Julia Murney, and cast members of the national tour of The Lion King. Also set to perform are country music favorites Josh Gracin, Raul Malo, Lorrie Morgan, Joe Nichols, Jamie O’Neal, SHeDAISY, Phil Vassar, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood, and Chris Young.

As at last year’s event, the Broadway performers will sing their favorite country tunes and the country singers will perform musical theater selections. Stephen Oremus is the concert’s musical director and arranger.
