Playwrights David Hare, Tony Kushner, and Robert O’Hara will be among the participants in a series of talkbacks after the Tuesday night performances of My Name is Rachel Corrie, the controversial political drama about the life of the young American activist who was killed in Palestine. The show, which stars Megan Dodds in the title role, has just been extended until December 30.

The series, which began on October 17, is only available to the show’s ticketholders. It will continue this Tuesday, October 24 with a discussion on “Political Journalism and Theater” moderated by Columbia University professor Alisa Solomon and featuring ABC News anchor Dan Harris.

On November 7, the topic will be “Playwriting and Politics,” with Hare, Kushner, and O’Hare speaking on a panel moderated by director Gregory Mosher. On November 14, Dodds will be joined by other notable solo performers to discuss the challenges and triumphs of going it alone on the stage. Additional participants will be announced at later date.
