David, Kiki & Herb, Kudisch, Lynch, White, et al. Set for Joe’s Pub

Broadway stars Keith David, Kiki & Herb, Marc Kudisch, Stephen Lynch, and Lillias White are among those who will appear at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street) in the coming weeks.

Kudisch, who will star next month in The Apple Tree, and Lynch, who plays Robbie Hart in The Wedding Singer, will be among the special guests for the Thursday, October 26 edition of Don’t Quit Your Night Job. The monthly improv/comedy show, hosted by Steve Rosen, David Rossmer, and Sarah Saltzberg, will also feature appearances by Broadway stars Hunter Bell, Susan Blackwell, Todd Buonapane, Alan Campbell, Thomas Cannizaro, Deborah S. Craig, Rebecca Creskoff, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jordan Gelber, and Lisa Jolley.

Leslie Kritzer, who has starred on Broadway in Hairspray, will reprise her critcially acclaimed show Leslie Kritzer is Patti LuPone at Les Mouches on Friday, October 27 and Sunday, November 26 at 9:30pm, as well as Friday and Saturday, December 8 and 9 at 11:30pm.

Kiki & Herb — aka Justin Bond and Kenny Mellman – will play at 11:30pm on November 15-16 and 26-27. The controversial performing due made their Broadway debut in August with a four-week stint at the Helen Hayes Theater. Withers, who received a 2006 Tony Award nomination for her performance as Shug Avery in The Color Purple, will debut selections from her new album It Can Happen to Anyone at 7pm on Monday, December 4.

David, a Tony nominee for Jelly’s Last Jam, and White, a Tony winner for The Life, will co-star in Nativity: A Life Story in Concert, on Sunday, December 10 at 1pm and Monday, December 11 at 7pm and 9:30pm. On the 11th, they will also be joined by cast members from the hit Off-Broadway show Drumstruck for this unusual Christmas show, which is told from Mary’s perspective.
