Cynthia Darlow, Cynthia Harris, Simon Jones, Larry Keith, and Ron McClary will star in The Actors Company Theatre (TACT) production of David Storey’s Home, December 2-23 at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. The production, which will be directed by Scott Alan Evans, will open officially on December 7. TACT previously did a concert reading of the show with the same cast.

Home takes place on a sunny day in a picturesque park as two mild-mannered British gentleman and two amiable women discuss their opinions about everything under the sun. The show’s 1970 Broadway production, starring John Gielgud and Ralph Richardson, received five Tony Award nominations, including Best Play. Storey’s other plays include In Celebration, The Changing Room, and The Farm.

The show’s creative team includes Mimi Lien (sets), David Toser (costumes), Mary Louise Geiger (lighting), Daryl Bornstein (sound), and David Macdonald (original music). Evans is the co-artistic director and executive director of TACT.

Darlow’s Broadway credits include Grease, Rumours, and Taller Than a Dwarf. Harris was seen on Broadway in Company and is best known for her role as Sylvia Buchman on the NBC sitcom Mad About You. Jones has starred on Broadway in such shows as The Real Thing, Benefactors, and Waiting in the Wings. Keith’s Broadway credits include Titanic and Caroline, or Change, and he is currently starring in the Primary Stages’ production of Southern Comforts. McClary starred Off-Broadway in Summer of ’69.
