Colin Hanlon and Michael Hunsaker to Appear at West Bank’s The After Party

On Friday, October 20, Colin Hanlon and Michael Hunsaker will be the special guests at The After Party, the free weekly event that is held from 10:30pm to 2am in the Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Café (407 West 42nd Street). The works of composer William Finn will be highlighted in performances by several singers that evening.

The pair will appear to promote the concert presentation of the Finn-James Lapine musical Falsettoland that will take place on Monday, November 6 at New World Stages. The concert will benefit Miracle House, an AIDS services organization. It will star Hanlon as Whizzer and Hunsaker as Marvin, along with Jill Abramovitz as Cordelia, Zachary Allen as Jason, Keith Gerchak as Mendel, Lisa Howard as Trina, and Leisa Mather as Charlotte.

Hanlon’s stage credits include the Broadway production of Rent, the Off-Broadway musical I Love You Because, and regional productions of The Last 5 Years, Peter and Wendy, and tick…tick..BOOM! He is expected to play Whizzer in the George Street Playhouse’s Spring 2007 production of Falsettos, the Broadway musical that combines March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland. Hunsaker is currently co-starring in John Epperson’s comedy My Deah at the Abingdon Theatre Company.
