Behar, Davis, Egan, Mayes, Winther, et al. Set for Metropolitan Room

Joy Behar, Mary Bond Davis, Susan Egan, Sally Mayes, and Michael Winther will be among the stars performing in November at The Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street).

Mayes, a Tony Award nominee for She Loves Me, will perform her new show Unwritten, November 1-3 and 16-18. Behar, the famed comedian and co-host of the ABC talk show The View, will appear on November 9 and 16. Egan, a Tony nominee whose Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast and Cabaret, will celebrate her new CD Winter Tracks on November 12-13. Winther, whose credits include Mamma Mia!, will join jazz pianist Dan Tepfer, November 19-20, 26-27. Davis, last seen as the original Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray, will debut her new show Phoenician, November 24-27.

Among the other performers at the club are fashion expert Leon Hall, whose show What Are You Wearing Tonight can be seen November 5-7; cabaret favorites Klea Blackhurst and Billy Stritch who will salute the music of Hoagy Carmichael, November 9-12; and Broadway star Nancy Anderson, who will perform songs from her CD Ten Cents a Dance with Ross Patterson and the Little Big Band on November 14 and 28.

Also on the club’s schedule are jazz legend Annie Ross, singers Lina Koutrakos, Scott Coulter, Barbara Fasano, Adi Braun, Raisa Katona Bennett, Darren Williams, and Mychelle Colleary, and vocal groups Modern Man and The Lascivious Biddies.
