Raines, Tunie, Ziemba, Zimmer, et al. Set for Workshop’s Daytime at Nighttime Benefit

Daytime TV stars Bobbie Eakes, Michael Park, Ron Raines, Tamara Tunie, and Kim Zimmer will be among the stars of Daytime at Nighttime, a musical event to be held at the Lucille Lortel Theater on Thursday, November 17, beginning at 8pm. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Workshop Theater Company.

Ellen Dolan and Bill Tatum will host the benefit, which will also feature daytime stars Martha Byrne, Trent Dawson, Jennifer Ferrin, and Robert Newman, plus Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba in a special guest appearance. WTC members Jennifer Kathryn Marshall, Tracy Newirth, Gerianne Raphael, and Emily Zacharias will also be on hand. The show will be directed by Jeffrey Buchsbaum.

The Workshop Theater Company, now entering its 12th season, specializes in developing new plays. Past productions have included Allan Knee’s The Man Who Was Peter Pan, Murray Schisgal’s Angel’s Wings, and Al Tapper’s Bettinger’s Luggage. In January, the company will present Levy Lee Simon’s Caseload.
