Elaine Stritch will be the special guest star of The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus Holiday Spectacular, to be held at 8pm on Wednesday, December 14 at Carnegie Hall.

Gary Miller, the group’s founding artistic director, has returned after a seven-year absence to act as co-music director with Casey J. Hayes. The concert, which launches the group’s 26th season, will include traditional carols and other holiday favorites.

Stritch won a Tony Award for her solo show Elaine Stritch: At Liberty. Her other Broadway credits include Company, A Delicate Balance, Sail Away, and Goldilocks. She will finish up the fall run of her sold-out cabaret show Elaine Stritch: At Home at the Carlyle on October 30 and will return to the Café Carlyle for a five-week run on January 3.
