Adrian Zmed Replaces David Hess in The Ark

Adrian Zmed has replaced David Hess as Noah in The Ark, a new biblical-themed musical by Michael McLean and Kevin Kelly. No reason was given for the cast change.

Directed and choreographed by Ray Roderick, the show will begin performances at 37 Arts on October 14 and is scheduled to open officially on November 14. The cast also includes Annie Golden, Marie-France Arcilla, D.B. Bonds, Justin Brill, Julie Foldesi, Jacquelyn Piro, Chuck Ragsdale, and Rob Sutton.

Zmed co-starred in the television series T.J. Hooker and Goodtime Girls. His theatrical credits include both the original Broadway production and the revival of Grease, as well as the Broadway musicals Falsettos and Blood Brothers and the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Children of Eden, in which he also played the role of Noah.
