The Theatre Development Fund (TDF) will be selling off 20,000 professional quality theatrical costumes from Tuesday through Thursday, October 26-28, as part of the Costume Collection’s “Moving Sale.” The collection will soon be moving from its 30-year-home on the 17th floor of 601 West 26th Street in Manhattan to a new, smaller space in the same building.

The general public is invited to the sale, which will begin at 10am on Tuesday, October 26; shopping bags will be available at $20 each, and they may be filled with any costumes in the warehouse. The shopping bags will be priced at $10 each on Wednesday the 27th and will be handed out free on Thursday the 28th, if any costumes still remain. Doors will remain open until 4:30pm each day; only cash or travelers’ checks will be accepted.
