Fred Ebb Memorial Scheduled for November 15

The public memorial for lyricist Fred Ebb, who died of a heart attack on September 11, is scheduled for Monday, November 15 at 12:30pm. It will be held at the Ambassador Theatre, where the hit revival of Chicago — with a score by Ebb and his longtime collaborator, composer John Kander — is now playing.

Ebb’s other credits with Kander include the Broadway productions of Flora, the Red Menace, Cabaret, Zorba, Woman of the Year, The Rink, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Steel Pier, Over and Over, and The Visit, in addition to the films Funny Lady and New York, New York.
