Three-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald will join Broadway favorites Emily Skinner, Julia Murney, Michael Cerveris, and Janine LaManna for “Only Make Believe,” a benefit for the four-year-old organization that brings theater to hospital-bound children, on Monday, November 3 at 8pm at the Lamb’s Theatre (130 West 44th Street).

Brad Oscar, former star of The Producers, will host the event, which will also feature performances by Jason Robert Brown, Lauren Kennedy, Chad Kimball, David Bryan (a member of the rock band Bon Jovi and composer of the new musical Memphis), songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, and Anika Larson of Zanna Don’t! The benefit will be directed by Joe DiPietro (The Thing About Men), with musical direction by Seth Rudetsky.

The “Only Make Believe” program began in 1999 at the Rusk Institute Pediatric Unit of NYU Hospitals Center as a project of the James and Dena Hammerstein Foundation. Since then, it has provided hundreds of workshops to thousands of children in New York City’s medical facilities. Tickets for “Only Make Believe” are $50 and may be purchased by calling 646-336-1500.
