"Musicals in Mufti" Casts Man With a Load of Mischief

Casting has been announced for the York Theatre Company’s “Musicals in Mufti” production of Ben Tarver and John Clifton’s Off-Broadway musical Man with a Load of Mischief. The company includes Stephen Bogardus, Holly Holcomb, Laura Kenyon, Diane Sutherland, Frank Vlastnik, and Lenny Wolpe.

Man With a Load of Mischief is based on a 1925 play by Ashley Dukes that concerns various romantic machinations among the guests of a 19th century English inn. The show premiered at the Jan Hus Playhouse in 1966.

Michael Montel will direct the “Musicals in Mufti” production, which will be performed October 31-November 2 at the York Theatre at St. Peter’s (619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street).
