Kids’ Night on Broadway Scheduled for February 4; Tickets on Sale November 1-14

Kids’ Night on Broadway 2003 has been scheduled. The annual program, now in its seventh year, allows one youngster age 6-18 to see a Broadway show free for every adult paid ticket. Tuesday, February 4, 2003 is the date for this season’s event, but tickets must be purchased November 1-14.

Among the Broadway shows signed on to participate are Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, Aida, Flower Drum Song, Hairspray, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, Oklahoma!, The Phantom of the Opera, Rent, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. The Off-Broadway hit Stomp is also participating.

A free, pre-show party will be held at Madame Tussaud’s on 42nd Street. All NYC-area Kids’ Night participants are invited to join in the festivities, which will include entertainment and interactive theater experiences involving karaoke, mock auditions, choreography, costumes, and hair and make-up. Cast members from many of the participating shows will be there — and, as always, Broadway icons will be on display in Madame Tussaud’s galleries.
