Katie Couric’s popular new talk show, Katie — the No. 1 new syndicated talk show of the 2012-13 season — is back for a second season, the first episode set to air on Monday, September 9. What does that mean for Broadway? It means another round of epiosdes of televised chats and performance opportunities with one of America’s most beloved daytime personalities.

Throughout Couric’s inaugural season, she hosted Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike stars Sigourney Weaver and David Hyde Pierce, Holland Taylor from Broadway’s one-woman show Ann, and a performance by the cast of Motown The Musical.

With a new Broadway season upon us, a whole new slew of Broadway stars will make their way over to Katie’s ABC studio in short order.
