Broadway triple threat Sutton Foster has canceled the remainder of her three-week concert run at the Café Carlyle due to a family emergency. The two-time Tony winner was scheduled to appear in a new concert act at the lavish venue from September 10-September 28.

Tony winner Christine Ebersole will step in for Foster September 26-28. The Café Carlyle will also feature the Chris Gillespie Trio September 24, the David Budway Trio and Donna Lewis September 25, and Natalie Douglas September 26-27.

Accompanied by Michael Rafter, Foster’s newest concert act features songs that run the gamut from tragic to comedic, bringing back old favorites from shows such as Thoroughly Modern Millie and Little Women.

The Café Carlyle is working with Foster to reschedule the canceled concert appearances at a later date.
