Laura Heisler and Rob Campbell Lead The Patron Saint of Sea Monsters at Playwrights Horizons

Marlane Meyer’s new comedy will play the Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

Laura Heisler (Kin) and Rob Campbell (Small Tragedy) will lead the cast of Marlane Meyer’s new comedy, The Patron Saint of Sea Monsters, at Playwrights Horizons beginning October 18. Directed by Lisa Peterson, the work will officially open on November 12 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

The world premiere work follows determined romantic Aubrey (Heisler), who believes she has met her soul mate in the boozing, womanizing Calvin (Campbell), only to discover that true love isn’t so simple. Also included in the company are Candy Buckley (Scandalous), Haynes Thigpen (Our House), Danny Wolohan, and Jacqueline Wright.

Featured on the creative team are Rachel Hauck (scenic design), Paloma Young (costume design), Russell Champa (lighting design), and Darron L. West (sound design).
