Classic Stage Company’s Romeo & Juliet, Starring Elizabeth Olsen, Extends Its Run

The off-Broadway incarnation of Shakespeare’s classic love story has added a week of performances.

Off-Broadway’s Classic Stage Company has announced plans to extend the run of its upcoming production of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet for one additional week, through Sunday, November 10.

Tea Alagić directs a cast that includes Elizabeth Olsen and Julian Cihi in the title roles. The cast also features McKinley Belcher III as Benvolio; Daniel Davis as Friar Laurence; Stan Demidoff as Paris and Sampson; Harry Ford as Gregory, Friar John, and Watchman; David Garrison as Capulet; T.R. Knight as Mercutio; Anthony Michael Martinez as Prince; Kathryn Meisle as Lady Capulet; Dion Mucciacito as Tybalt; John Rothman as Montague and Apothecary; and Daphne Rubin-Vega as Nurse.

Performances are set to begin on Friday, September 27, in advance of an October 16 opening.
