A whole lot of Broadway stars will appear this season on the acclaimed Showtime series Homeland. This is no surprise, given that the cast is led by Claire Danes, who appeared in Roundabout Theatre Company's 2007 revival of Pygmalion, and Mandy Patinkin, a two-time Tony Award winner for his work in Evita and Sunday in the Park With George.

Homeland is known for casting stage actors in crucial roles, including West End veteran Damian Lewis (Into the Woods) as former soldier Nicholas Brody, Tony nominee Jamey Sheridan (All My Sons) as Vice President William Walden, and Tony nominee Marin Ireland (Reasons to Be Pretty) as criminal accomplice Aileen Morgan.

Season 3, set to premiere September 29, will feature a bevy of Broadway favorites as the United States recovers from the terrorist attack that decimated the intelligence community and prompted the worldwide manhunt for Nicholas Brody, who is believed to have committed the crime.

Here are five Broadway favorites to look out for, so keep your eyes open.
