Works by Brooke Berman, Theresa Rebeck, Caridad Svich Set for We Are Theatre

Brooke Berman, Theresa Rebeck, and Caridad Svich are among the playwrights who will take part in Guerrilla Girls On Tour’s We Are Theatre, a one-night only evening of plays, monologues, and skits in support of gender equality in the theater industry. Produced by 50/50 in 2020 and members of the Dramatists Guild Women’s Initiative, the event will take place September 24 at the Cherry Lane Theatre.
Sara Lyons directs the evening, which also features works by Kate Bornstein, Shay Youngblood, Honor Molloy, Sarah Duncan, Marianne McDonald, Sheilah Rae, Sophia Romma, and more.
We Are Theatre is co-sponsored by organizations including Women’s Project Theatre, The Feminist Spectator, Judith Shakespeare Company, Nashvill Darmaturgy Project, and EstroGenius Festival.
