Prospect Theatre Company has announced the selections for its 2012-2013 season.

The season will open with a one-night-only benefit concert of Peter Mills and Cara Reichel’s The Rockae, held Sunday, October 7 at Le Poisson Rouge.

This will be followed by Gordon Greenberg’s previously announced production of Working, running December 1-30 at 59E59 Theaters. Adapted by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso from the book by Studs Terkel, Working features songs by Craig Carnelia, Micki Grant, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mary Rodgers & Susan Birkenhead, Schwartz, and James Taylor. Casting will be announced.

Next up is Mills and Reichel’s Death for Five Voices, inspired by the life of Renaissance composer and murderer Carlo Gesualdo, running February 16-March 17 at the West End Theatre.

Finally, Sam Carner and Derek Gregor’s Unlock’d, winner of the New York Musical Theatre Festival’s “Best of Fest” award in 2007, will run in the summer of 2013.
