Channing recently appeared in Culture Project's revival of The Exonerated Off-Broadway and in Other Desert Cities on Broadway, for which she received a Tong Award nomination. She won the award for her performance in Joe Egg. On screen, she is best known for her roles in the films of Six Degrees of Separation and Grease, as well as her work as First Lady Abbey Bartlet on Aaron Sorkin's The West Wing.
