The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Nice Work If You Can Get It is currently being streamed in its entirety on WNYC’s Soundcheck Blog. The album will be available exclusively on that site until its September 25 digital download release.

The CD is produced by Robert Sher and was recorded on May 20 and 21 at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Long Island City.

Nice Work if You Can Get It features music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, with a book by Joe DiPietro, and direction and choreography by Kathleen Marshall. Matthew Broderick and Kelli O’Hara lead the cast of the production, which features songs including “S’Wonderful,”, “Fascinating Rhythm,” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

The principal company also features 2012 Tony Award-winners Judy Kaye and Michael McGrath, as well as Terry Beaver, Robyn Hurder, Stanley Wayne Mathis, Estelle Parsons, Jennifer Laura Thompson, and Chris Sullivan.

The ensemble includes Cameron Adams, Clyde Alves, Kaitlyn Davidson, Jason DePinto, Kimberly Fauré, Robert Hartwell, Stephanie Martignetti, Barrett Martin, Michael X. Martin, Adam Perry, Jeffrey Schecter, Jennifer Smith, Joey Sorge, Samantha Sturm, Kristen Beth Williams, and Candice Marie Woods.
