Emmy Award winner and Broadway veteran Neil Patrick Harris will write a non-fiction book about his life, which is planned for publication in the spring of 2014 by Crown Archetype.

The as-of-yet untitled book is described as “a work of imaginative nonfiction that delivers an interactive, nonlinear reading experience that breaks the boundaries of conventional memoir.”

Harris will also reportedly discuss many roles he has played in his life and career—from being a child star to coming out, acting on Broadway, and being a proud father with husband David Burtka.

His many stage credits include Assassins, Proof, Cabaret, and Rent. He currently stars on the CBS series How I Met Your Mother and he has hosted Broadway’s Tony Awards three times.

Harris’ many other film and television credits also include Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, Glee, the Harold & Kumar series of films, and Doogie Howser, M.D.
