Michael Cunio, Mitch Jarvis, Set for The Rockae

Prospect Theater Company will kick off its 2012-2013 season with a one-night-only concert presentation of The Rockae, a hard rock musical based on Euripides’ The Bacchae, on October 7 at Le Poisson Rouge.

The cast of The Rockae will feature Mitch Jarvis and Michael Cunio, with Bridget Beirne, Andrew Brewer, Sara Brophy, Matt DeAngelis, Jaygee Macapuga, Samia Mounts, Ryah Nixon, Gordon Stanley and Simone Zamore, with more names to be announced soon.

The Rockae features music and lyrics by Peter Mills and a book by Mills and Cara Reichel. It will be directed by Cara Reichel with musical direction by Alexander Rovang and musical staging by Marlo Hunter.
