Marin Mazzie, Ann Hampton Callaway, Barbara Carroll, and Tony DeSare at 54 Below

On Tuesday, September 4, members of the press got a sneak peak at some upcoming acts that will grace the stage of Broadway’s 54 Below in the coming weeks.

Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie joined Joseph Thalken at the piano, Peter Donovan on bass, Larry Saltzman on guitar, and Larry Lelli on percussion to perform a number from her show, which will play this week (September 4-8).

Platinum Award winner and Tony Award nominee Ann Hampton Callaway sang “On A Clear Day/Happy Days” with Ted Rosenthal at the piano. Callaway will perform in the club September 25-29.

Legendary jazz vocalist, pianist and composer Barbara Carroll, who will play at the 54 Below’s Jazz Brunch, took a seat at the piano to sing a fun number.

Piano-vocalist Tony DeSare joined Edward Decker on guitar and Steve Doyle on bass to perform “Somebody Loves Me” for the cameras.
