The story is focused on women caught up in the ongoing conflict for the throne during England's Wars of the Roses.
Irons has been cast as King Edward IV, and McTeer will play the sorceress mother of his new bride. The cast will also include James Frain, Rebecca Ferguson, Amanda Hale, Faye Marsay, and Aneurin Bernard.
