Janet McTeer and Max Irons to Star in Upcoming Starz Drama Based on The Cousins War Book Series

Stage and screen veterans Janet McTeer and Max Irons will headline a new Starz historical drama based on Philippa Gregory’s novel series The Cousins War, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The story is focused on women caught up in the ongoing conflict for the throne during England’s Wars of the Roses.
Irons has been cast as King Edward IV, and
McTeer will play the sorceress mother of his new bride. The cast will also include James Frain, Rebecca Ferguson, Amanda Hale, Faye Marsay, and Aneurin Bernard.
