James Gandolfini to Make Cameo in Nicky Deuce Film

Stage and screen veteran James Gandolfini will make a cameo appearance in the new Nickelodeon TV movie Nicky Deuce, according to Deadline. The film, based on the children’s book by Steven R. Schirripa and Charles Fleming, will premiere on the network in 2013.

Gandolfini will play a character called Bobby Eggs. The film reunites Gandolfini and Schirripa, who starred on HBO’s The Sopranos. The film also features “Sopranos” cast members Michael Imperioli, Tony Sirico, and Vincent Curatola, as well as Noah Munck, and Rita Moreno.

The film follows the adventures of a teen who is sent to Brooklyn to spend the summer with members of the Italian-American family he never knew he had.

Gandolfini’s stage credits include God of Carnage and On the Waterfront.
