Helen Hunt to Receive Zurich Film Festival Golden Eye Award

Academy Award-winner and stage veteran Helen Hunt will receive the Zurich Film Festival’s Golden Eye career achievement award, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The actress will be the award’s first female recipient.
The festival will present a retrospective of Hunt’s screen work, including Then She Found Me, What Women Want, and As Good As It Gets, for which she won an Oscar. Her newest film, The Sessions, will also be presented in the festival.
Hunt is perhaps best known for her performance as Jamie Buchman on the NBC sitcom Mad About You. Her stage credits include two different productions of Our Town, Life (x) 3, Twelfth Night, and The Taming of the Shrew.
