Ewan McGregor Joins Cast of August: Osage County Film
Stage and screen veteran Ewan McGregor has joined the cast of the upcoming film adaptation of Tracy Letts’ August: Osage County, according to Deadline. He will play Bill Fordham, the estranged husband of Julia Roberts‘ Barbara and son-in-law of Meryl Streep‘s Violet Weston.
The film is also expected to feature Margo Martindale as Mattie Fae, Benedict Cumberbatch as “Little” Charles, Chris Cooper as Charlie, Dermot Mulroney as Steve, Juliette Lewis as Karen, Abigail Breslin as Jean, Sam Shepard as Beverly, and Misty Upham as Johnna, although not all of the casting has been officially confirmed.
