Charles Busch, Ethan Hawke, Martha Plimpton to Be Inducted Into The Players Hall of Fame

The Players Foundation will induct 14 new individuals into The Players Hall of Fame at the organization’s fundraising dinner at the Booth mansion (16 Gramercy Park South in NYC) on Sunday, September 30 beginning at 6pm.

Among the honorees are playwright Edward Albee; actor/playwright Charles Busch; actors Ethan Hawke, Martha Plimpton, Jack Klugman, Brian Murray, and Fritz Weaver; cabaret artist Steve Ross; journalist Jerry Tallmer; and astronaut Scott Carpenter. Posthumous inductees include Clark Gable, Janet Leigh, Sidney Lumet, and Augustus Saint-Gaudens. A fine art portrait of each inductee will be added to The Players’ permanent collection.

K.T. Sullivan will perform at the event, which will also feature speeches from Judith Ivey, Kate Mulgrew, Jim Brochu and Sherrill Milnes.
