The show will feature De Shields with his longtime vocalists, Freida Williams and Marléne Danielle, along with pianist Larry Spivack. Composer Steve Margoshes will make a guest appearance.

De Shields received Tony Award nominations for Play On! and The Full Monty. He is the recipient of the 2009 National Black Theatre Festival Living Legend Award, as well as several other honors including a 2009 AUDELCO Award and the 2007 Village Voice OBIE for Sustained Excellence of Performance.
