Alan Cumming to Participate in Broadway Behind the Curtain Conversation

Tony Award winner Alan Cumming will join photographer Rivka S. Katvan and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS executive director Tom Viola for a public conversation, to be held in conjunction with Katvan’s exhibit Broadway Behind the Curtain on Wednesday, September 12 at 6pm.

Journalist Randy Gener will moderate the event, presented by Gallery 138 and Soho Photo Gallery. It takes place at the latter, located at 15 White Street, in New York City.

Topics to be discussed include fine-art photography, Broadway theater, and fundraising work for critically needed services for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families nationwide.

Cumming – who is prominently featured in Katvan’s photography – won the Tony Award for his performance as the Emcee in Cabaret. His many other stage credits include Design for Living, The Threepenny Opera, Elle and Macbeth. He currently co-stars on CBS’ The Good Wife , and appeared in the television movie of Annie.
