Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More has announced another extension, and is now set to run through November 12. The production, co-directed by Felix Barrett and Maxine Doyle, plays at The McKittrick Hotel at 530 W 27th Street in Chelsea.

Based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the piece invites theatregoers into the multistoried venue that has been converted for the production, experiencing events from Shakespeare’s play in an intimate and often surprising manner. Audiences move freely through the epic world of the story at their own pace, choosing where to go and what to see, ensuring that everyone’s journey is different and unique.

Director Barrett has designed the production, Doyle has choreographed, and Stephen Dobbie has provided the sound design.

The production was recently honored with the Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience and the Obie Awards’ Special Citation for Design & Choreography.
