The series will open with Joe Pintauro’s newly revised version of his play Raft of the Medusa (October 6-22). Cisneros, Gil Ron, Maia Sage, Christopher Whalen, Michael Pierre Louis, Gillian Rougier and Andrew MacLarty.

The second production in the Stripped festival will be Randal Colburn’s Verse Chorus Verse (October 29 – November 12). Directed by Ricardo Riethmuller, the play, set 20 years after the death of Kurt Cobain, focuses on Polly, the haunted subject of a song by the band Nirvana, who wants to prove Cobain’s death was a murder. Casting will be announced shortly.

In addition, Israel Horovitz’s Gloucester Blue will receive a workshop production in the Festival, running November 17 – December 3. The black comedy investigates what happens when a man returns home after a long absence and encounters all manner of infidelities and murders. The company will feature Francisco Solorzano, Therese Plaehn and Christopher Whalen.
