Pan Asian Rep Announces Casting for Shanghai Lil’s

Pan Asian Rep has announced casting for Shanghai Lil’s, to run November 11-27 at the West End Theatre. Tisa Chang will direct the production, which will feature choreography by Susan Ancheta and musical direction by Sarah Brett England.

With book and lyrics by Lilah Kan and music by Louis Stewart, the show, set in a 1940’s San Francisco nightclub, tells a traditional boy-meets-girl love story, set against the looming specter of World War II.

The company will feature Jaygee Macapugay, Christine Toy Johnson, Leanne Cabrera, Whitney Kam Lee, Rebecca Lee Lerman, Timothy Ng, and Lisa Villamaria.

The creative team will include scenic designer Gian Marco Lo Forte; costume designer Kate Mincer; and lighting designer Jiyoun Chang.
