Megan Reinking, Jed Resnick, et al. Set for NYMF’s Les Enfants de Paris

Initial casting has been announced for David Levinson and Stacey Weingarten’s Les Enfants de Paris, which will be presented as part of the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Donna Drake will direct the production, which will have choreography by Rhonda Miller and musical direction by Mark Hartman.

The show, set in in 1958, centers on the ramifications of a romance between a young Frenchman and a fiery Muslim refugee.

The company will feature Dan Kohler (Claude Frollo), Megan Reinking (Fleur-de-Lys), Jed Resnick (Pierre Frollo), and Blake Segal (Michel Giroux). Additional casting will be announced shortly.

The creative team will include scenic designer Ann Bartek, lighting designer Brian Tovar, costume designer Kurt Alger, and sound designer Michael Eisenberg.
