Matt Charman’s Regrets Added to Manhattan Theatre Club’s 2011-2012 Season

Matt Charman’s Regrets has been added to Manhattan Theatre Club’s 2011-2012 season at New York City Center – Stage I, with performances to begin on March 1, in anticipation of an official opening on March 20. Casting and creative will be announced in the near future for the production.

The play, set in the 1950s, focuses on Caleb, a young man who arrives at a Nevada retreat that caters to men seeking a divorce. But Caleb’s reasons for leaving his Hollywood home may run deeper than matrimonial problems.

Charman’s other plays include A Night at the Dogs, The Five Wives of Maurice Pinder, and The Observer.

As previously reported, Manhattan Theatre Club’s season at City Center will also include Zoe Kazan’s We Live Here. On Broadway, the company will produce David Ives’ Venus in Fur, Margaret Edson’s Wit, and David Auburn’s The Columnist.
