Kristen Schaal to Appear at NYC’s Paley Center for Media

Lucille Lortel Award winner and Daily Show correspondent Kristen Schaal will be among the guests at a panel discussion following the New York City premiere of Tell Your Friends! The Concert Film! to be held at 7:30pm on Thursday, September 22 at the Paley Center for Media in New York.

The film is a look at the burgeoning alternative comedy scene and features appearances by Schaal, Reggie Watts, Janeane Garofalo, and Marc Maron, among others. The filmmakers and other participants in the movie will join Schaal for the discussion.

The Paley Center will also host the New York version of PaleyFest, September 13-15 and 20, featuring free screenings of this season’s new television shows. Selections will include NBC’s The Playboy Club, starring Tony Award winner Laura Benanti; NBC’s Up All Night, starring Christina Applegate; NBC’s Free Agents, starring Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn; CBS’ Person of Interest, starring Michael Emerson; CBS’ A Gifted Man, starring Patrick Wilson and Jennifer Ehle; ABC’s Suburgatory, starring Jeremy Sisto Ana Gasteyer; and FOX’s I Hate My Teenage Daughter, starring Tony winner Katie Finneran.

The center will also present a special screening of the 1978 telefilm Ziegfeld: The Man and His Women starring Paul Shenar as legendary impresario Florenz Ziegfeld, on Saturday, September 24 at 2pm.
