Hunter Foster, Andrew Polk, et al. Set for New Group’s Burning

The New Group has announced casting for Thomas Bradshaw’s Burning, to run October 26 – December 17 at Theatre Row. Scott Elliott will direct the production.

Burning tells the intersecting stories of a contemporary Black painter who hides his race and goes to Germany for a show, and a homeless teenager who comes to New York in the 1980s to become an actor and is taken in by two gay men.

The company will feature Jeff Biehl, Reyna DeCourcy, Barrett Doss, Hunter Foster, Andrew Garman, Drew Hildebrand, Evan Johnson, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Andrew Polk, Larisa Polonsky, Adam Trese, Vladimir Versailles, and Stephen Tyrone Williams.

The creative team will include Derek McLane (scenic design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Clint Ramos (costume design), Bart Fasbender (sound design), and Wendall Harrington (video design).
